Judges 17:6

In those days there was no king in Israel; every man did what was right in his own eyes.

Talk about a plan for failure, this is it! No understanding of absolute truth, no clearly defined laws, no logical understanding of the simplest of godly principles; that’s what it’s like when men just do what they think is right. One of the reasons God gave us the Bible is so that there would be a clear understanding of what right and wrong is. When a society turns away from God and His Word this is what happens, everything comes unraveled. But, when a society is founded on God’s Word and it’s people are living out His commands there is peace, joy and love and a sense of genuine compassion flowing through everyone. May we stay in God’s Word and live accordingly is my prayer.
