Leviticus 18:29, 30

“Those who do any of these abhorrent things will be cut off from their people. Keep to what I tell you; don’t engage in any of the abhorrent acts that were practiced before you came. Don’t pollute yourselves with them. I am God, your God.”

I’ve always had this mental picture of pollution as this slimey green and black slow moving river that winds through a smoke covered big city. Politicians have made careers out of fighting so called pollutants spending millions of taxpayer dollars on clean environment laws. Oh that we would put such effort into keeping our spiritual lives clean. God encourages us to not engage in the garbage or practice any of the trash that’s been practiced by our ancestors. Don’t allow the garbage of this world to pollute your life. May we stay clean before God is my prayer.
