Philippians 3:7

But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ.

Paul found that everything about his life was wrong when he encountered Christ. To become the new man Jesus wanted him to be, he had to walk away from everything that was wrong in his life. Instead of complaining he embraced his new life with joy, realizing what Jesus had given him. He had replaced his dead-end religion with eternal life! May we be willing to give up everything to receive Christ is my prayer.
