Mark 9:19

And He answered them and said, “O unbelieving generation, how long shall I be with you? How long shall I put up with you?  Bring him to me!”

Jesus reveals something about Himself that should get our attention when He asked these questions. “How long shall I be with you?” And, “How long shall I put up with you?” The answers to these questions are one in the same; Until God the Father says enough is enough and this age comes to an end. O, there will be an end to the days of grace and there will be a judgement of mankind and there is an eternal destination for every human being. Our question should be, Is God having to put up with me or is God pleased with me? As a loving Father, God puts up with us but as loving and obedient children He shouldn’t have to. May we please and honor our Father in all we do is my prayer.
