Matthew 1:5

And Salmon begat Booz of Rachab; and Booz begat Obed of Ruth; and Obed begat Jesse;

Ruth was in a bad spot when her husband died. In her day a single woman was of little value and until she was wed again she was doomed to a life of poverty. No one could predict what was about to happen in her life but one little decision to follow her godly mother-in-law, Naomi, changed everything. Now her name is found in the genealogy of Christ. May we let God direct our paths is my prayer.
