Micah 7:7

But as for me, I watch in hope for the Lord, I wait for God my Savior; my God will hear me.

There is no better place to be than resting in the assurances of God. God has promised in His Word to bless and help His children, He has promised to never leave us nor forsake us, and He has given us His Son to show us how serious He is about His relationship with us. Why is it we are so quick to forget His promises? We grow impatient and make decisions that turn out bad, we run for help in places that have no answers, and we run ahead of God’s plan and find ourselves out of His will. It’s time to slow down for a minute, pour yourself out before God, and rest in the fact that He has heard you. Put your hope in God, wait patiently for Him, and He will hear you. May we never get ahead of God is my prayer.
