Numbers 6:22-27

God spoke to Moses: “Tell Aaron and his sons, This is how you are to bless the People of Israel. Say to them, God bless you and keep you, God smile on you and gift you, God look you full in the face and make you prosper. In so doing, they will place my name on the people of  Israel, I will confirm it by blessing them.”

The spoken words of blessing are so powerful and they are the counteraction to the curses of the world. As the New Testament royal priesthood of God we are to bless people with our words. This world has been cursed enough, it’s our responsibility to speak words of life and liberty over our friends, family, and coworkers. Our spoken blessing may be the very thing that turns someone’s heart to Jesus. May we bless and never curse is my prayer.
