Colossians 3:1,2

Therefore if you have been raised up with Christ, keep seeking the things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. (2)Set your mind on the things above, not on the things that are on earth.

The old hymn says, “He brought me out of the mirey clay, He set my feet on a rock to stay”, how true these words are. Christ reached down in the pit of my sins and lifted me up to new life in Him. Why would we not keep looking up to the one who has saved us. Don’t get so caught up in living that you get your eyes off the real prize. Our prize is up, not down. Seek what is above, not what is of this earth. As we seek Him first all our needs will be supplied. May we seek God with all our heart is my prayer.
