Proverbs 14:12, 13

There’s a way of life that looks harmless enough; look again, it leads straight to hell. Sure, those people appear to be having a good time, but all that laughter will end in heartbreak.

There are two pathways for navigating life. One pathway is the pursuit of the things of this world: fun, fame, fortune, and the fulfillment of fleshly desires. The other pathway is the pursuit of the things of the Spirit: peace, love, joy, humility, and the fulfillment of our spiritual desires. The first pathway is temporal and ends in hell. The second pathway is eternal and ends in heaven. Just remember, rattlesnakes look beautiful and harmless until they open their mouths. Choose wisely my friend. May we avoid the heartache of bad choices is my prayer.
