Proverbs 16:2 

Humans are satisfied with whatever looks good; God probes for what is good.

You know this to be true; not everything that looks good is good. The world has gotten really good at painting a picture that looks good but hides the pain and despair that is the truth. I was asked to work for an investor who was flipping houses. Instead of making proper repairs to their properties they were masking the rotten wood with plaster, painting over it, and marketing it as if it was repaired right. Needless to say we no longer work for that investor. Make sure what your going for today doesn’t just look good, make sure it is good. May we recognize the good and shun the fake is my prayer.
