Psalm 135:13

Your name, Lord, endures forever, your renown, Lord through all generations.

Men rise to fame and fortune and even shape nations, but their days are numbered and their accomplishments are temporary and fleeting. God, however, is eternal. Men come and go but God sits on His thrown from generation to generation and although one generation rejects God, He waits patiently for the next generation to call upon His name. Not only is God eternal but He is the same God today that King David called upon in the Old Testament. He has not changed nor will He ever. He will deliver you just like He did David, He will bless you just like He did David, and He will be with you just like He was with David. May we bow before our eternal God and make Him our Lord is my prayer.
