Psalm 46:1

God is a safe place to hide, ready to help when we need Him.

Every once in a while it’s good to find a place to escape. Just to get out of the “rat race” and retreat from the daily battle. The problem is that vacations don’t happen often enough and locking ourselves away in our house is not an option. God knows all of this and that is why He offers Himself as the place for our retreat. You can be alone with Him any where! At a moments notice we can slip away with God in prayer, bow at His throne, and enjoy worshipping the King of Kings. In His presence the problems fade away, we are encouraged, and we are empowered to move on. May we find time alone with God today is my prayer.
