Psalm 81:10

“I, the Lord, am your God, who brought you up from the land of Egypt; open your mouth wide and I will fill it.”

I have a wonderful mental picture of a nest full of baby birds with their necks stretched high and their mouths wide open awaiting the food their mother is about to drop in their mouths. All they have to do is swallow to be fed. Our heavenly Father desires to give good gifts to His children, what we need to do is open our hearts wide to Him and receive what He has for us. May we receive the gifts of God is my prayer.
