Romans 12:17

Never pay back evil for evil to anyone. Respect what is right in the sight of all men.

The world’s motto is: “if someone does you wrong, do something worse to them”, but this is not the way of the Christian. We don’t repay evil for evil, we always do what’s good and right. We don’t do good to evil people because their actions deserve it, we do good to evil people because they deserve to see grace in action. Their eternal soul may depend on how we react to the evil they have done to us. The next time someone does evil to you look at it as an opportunity to be God’s grace extended to them. May we never act like the world is my prayer.
