Isaiah 2:5

Come, house of Jacob, and let us walk in the light of the Lord.

I had to walk over to my sons house in the dark last night. If we lived in a suburban neighborhood with sidewalks and street lamps it would have been no problem, but we don’t. We live in a rural neighborhood where it’s dark at night and the pathway to his house is wrought with mud puddles and the occasional snake. We keep a flashlight beside our back door to make those night time excursions safe and the rubber boots don’t hurt either. If you want to make it through the darkness of this life, let the light of the Gospel of Christ shine on everything you do and He will make your journey safe. May we walk in the light and enjoy the warmth and protection of Jesus is my prayer.
