Hebrews 2:17,18

Therefore, He had to be made like His brethren in all things, so that He might become a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make propitiation for the sins of the people. (18)For since He Himself was tempted in that which He has suffered, He is able to come to the aid of those who are tempted.

When we get in trouble or have a problem we can’t solve, we don’t want just anybody to help us. We want someone who has been there and done that and did it successfully. Sports teams don’t bring in motivational speakers that haven’t won anything, they bring in former champions who know how to win it all. God has given us Jesus Christ as the mediator between us and Him. Jesus has been tempted in every way possible, faced every kind of opposition, and suffered every kind of pain and did so with total success. His perfection makes Him the perfect person for us to go to in our times of need. Rest assured that He has felt your pain and can show you the way to victory. May we find Jesus as near as our next prayer is my prayer.

Keeping it Real!
