Zechariah 11:7

So I pastured the flock doomed to slaughter, hence the afflicted of the flock. And I took for myself two staffs: the one I called Favor and the other I called Union; so I pastured the flock.

What a wonderful picture of how God shepherds His people; In one hand we have His favor and in the other we have union. God’s favor reaches every part of our lives, it opens doors, rearranges events, and causes people to prefer us. God’s Union is what holds our families, churches, and countries together. With a shepherd like this how could we lose.  May we always choose Christ as our shepherd so that we will enjoy the covering of His favor and union is my prayer.
