Galatians 3:29 And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.

We held a family and friends “meet and greet” at our Church plant facility yesterday. It was so wonderful to be a part of and get to share our vision with the people who we are closest to. Being part of a family is such a powerful and stabilizing thing in our lives. You  know the old saying, “blood is thicker than water”. My Mother was raised in a family with 5 siblings. They always said if you messed with one of the children, you had to deal with all 6 of them. They might fight with each other but if an outsider picked a fight with one of them he would soon be overwhelmed by all 6 of them. That is one of the awesome aspects of being a part of the family of God. We have each other’s backs. When one of us is down, a brother helps us up. When one of us is hurting, we all hurt. When the enemy comes against one of us, like a flood the body of Christ overwhelms him. We may be fragile by ourselves, but as a part of the body of Christ the devil is no match for us. May we all find our place in the body of Christ is my prayer.
