Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. (Ephesians 6:10, 11 KJV)
What a nightmare, you find yourself standing in front of a bunch of people without any clothes on. It’s embarrassing, humiliating, and just down right crazy, but that’s how bad dreams can be some times. Thank God it’s only a nightmare. Paul tells us to put on the whole armor of God, implying that something could be left out. God’s armor provides protection for every part of our lives, so, in the words of a famous ad campaign, “why leave home without it”? From the helmet of salvation to our feet being shod with the preparation of the Gospel of peace, let’s cover ourselves in God. May God cloth us in His armor is my prayer.
