John 14:1-3 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. (2) In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. (3) And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

Think about this for a minute, the God of the universe has a place prepared for you. A mansion, if you will, that is custom designed and constructed just for you. It’s a place in heaven and it awaits your eternal occupancy. There’s just one prerequisite for you to take possession of your mansion, the key to your mansion is salvation through the shed blood of Jesus. That’s it, Jesus must be your Lord and Savior. To make Jesus your Lord and Savior you must acknowledge and repent of your sins and acknowledge and submit to the Lordship of Christ. It’s just that simple, oh, I know there are a lot of details about Christian living that I’m leaving out, but the Holy Spirit will guide you into all truth. It is the work of the Holy Spirit that molds us into the image of Christ and prepares us for His service. Our part is to submit to His leadership and live according to His directions. May we all be ready when Jesus calls us home is my prayer.
